It's just a different salt...bupropion hydroBROMIDE instead of hydrochloride like Wellbutrin.
The only advantage is that patients can take just one Aplenzin tablet a day...even at higher doses. Patients on Wellbutrin XL need 2 or 3 tablets if they take over 300 mg/day.
